pH buffer solutions should be replaced immediately after a single calibration session. Once exposed to air, buffers absorb carbon dioxide, permanently altering their chemical value. Reusing buffer will skew your meter's baseline. We recommend high-volume facilities utilize the PH Standard Solution (500ml) to ensure fresh decanting for every test.
